Deleting a user permanently removes the user and all data associated with that user from the account. This includes items such as uploaded creatives, templates, and campaigns created by that user. Once a user is deleted, the action cannot be reversed, and the user’s data cannot be recovered. Use this option with caution.

Deactivating a user removes the user’s ability to log in and access the account, but preserves all data associated with that user. Campaigns, creatives, and other assets created by the deactivated user remain available to other users with the appropriate permissions.

Deactivation is the recommended option when you need to prevent someone from accessing the account while keeping their work intact.
